Jabberwock beach is on the northern side of Antigua and although not being the most beautiful stretch of beach
on the island, it still has its appeal. The beach is fairly long and has some strong breezes, which makes it ideal or sailing,
windsurfing and kite surfing. The waters can be a little rough compared to the tranquil beaches on the South and West of the island,
but nothing that would stop you from swimming or walking along the beach. You can walk out fairly far in the water, as the slope is
gradual. If you are up early enough you will meet the occasion people out with their dogs or just taking an early morning walk.
As Jabberwock beach is not too far from the airport (about 2or 3 minutes) you will see various planes just after they
have taken off. There are a few near by hotels which are Antigua Beachcomber and
Lord Nelson Beach Hotel. So if you are near by to Jabberwock then a late evening or early morning walk along the beach is just what
the doctor ordered!
