||Description: A selection of normal and tax free shops
Antigua may not be well known for it's shopping, but you are sure to find plenty of what you need and more! The capital St Johns has various shops ranging from clothes to hardware. The main tourist areas of St Johns are all Tax/Duty free, and those areas
are Heritage Quay & Redcliffe Quay. These are both specifically for the tourist and you will find all manner of souvenirs, clothes, jewellery and perfumes. There is also a few places to grab a drink or bite to eat as well as a casino, if you're feeling lucky.
There are other places to shop on the island although St Johns is the main place. You could venture to Jolly Harbour or to English Harbour. The prices in the tourist areas will be in US dollars and sometimes the Caribbean EC dollar as well.
Outside of the tourist shopping areas the prices are usually marked in EC dollars although US dollars are accepted more or less all over the island (the EC dollar is tied to the rate of the US dollar).
