Overview

Restoration of this historic site commenced in 1950, and by 1978 the ancient store had been partially completed and converted into self catering apartments. Restoration and conversion of the property into a Georgian Inn began in 1982 and continued into 1988 with the opening of top quality restaurant, the Wardroom, the development of an English style Pub, the Mainbrace, and refurbishment of a secluded lounge area and outdoor patio.

Accommodation

The hotel consists of 14 suites or studios, each one named after one of Lord Nelson's fleet of ships. All are beautifully furnished and individually decorated with antiques and period pieces, authentically weathered brickwork, beams and brass. Each air-conditioned suite has a private bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, and living room area. All suites have stunning views of the harbour.
